Environmental Policy

DKT WomanCare Global (WCG) is committed to environmental leadership in all its business activities and is dedicated to continual improvement in enhancing our environmental performance. We achieve this through regular reviews to maintain an effective and controlled environmental management system. This Environmental Policy Statement applies to all areas of our business and aligns with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. Our commitment and objectives to prevent pollution and address climate change include:

  • Protect the Environment: We strive to minimize our carbon footprint and mitigate climate change impacts across all aspects of our business when it is possible. This includes reducing unnecessary printing, prioritizing digital documentation, and using e-signatures whenever possible.
  • Climate Adaptation and Resilience: We will assess the potential impacts of climate change on our operations and integrate climate resilience strategies into our business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Compliance with Legislation: We commit to complying with environmental regulations and relevant Codes of Practice, ensuring that our operations are in line with best practices for climate action.
  • Community Engagement: We aim to be an environmentally responsible neighbor in the communities where we operate, addressing climate-related issues and engaging in initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental health.
  • Energy Responsibility: We will ensure the responsible use of energy throughout our business, prioritizing energy conservation, improving energy efficiency, and favoring renewable energy sources over non-renewable ones wherever feasible. We will set targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Continuous Improvement: We will continuously enhance WCG’s environmental management system and performance, specifically targeting initiatives that address climate change mitigation and adaptation.
