Levoplant™ is a new product for Central Asia and East Europe, so trainings on the insertion technique are mandatory when presenting the product to local doctors. As soon as the Levoplant™ trainings were approved for Continuous Medical Education (CME) products, DKT WomanCare, the Ministry of Health (MOH), and Avita jointly ran 2 trainings in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan for the month of November. A total of 48 doctors were trained by invited Doctor from Georgia, Professor George Tsertsvadze and local KOL trainer Dr. Elmira Maksutova, head of the Family Planning Center in Bishkek.
Welcoming 6 providers from different regions around the country, the trainings were finalized with 25 insertions on women for free. Upon completion, each provider was awarded 16 CME hours and a certificate from MOH. We would like to thank everyone who made these trainings possible, and for helping spread awareness of Levoplant™ to Kyrgyzstan!
